Indira is knowledgeable in Sustainable Urbanisation and Construction. Indira received her Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Nazarbayev University. She published several journal articles about the energy and thermal performance of buildings for different climates in the top 10 % of energy-related journals. Currently, she is conducting research as a research assistant and Ph.D. candidate in the human behavior and energy laboratory (HuBEL) at Kyung Hee University. Indira’s research work is focused on the urban heat island (UHI) phenomenon, its effect on the energy performance of the building stock, and adaptation of potential mitigation strategies. During her graduate studies, Indira published several journal articles in esteemed journals.
